July 7, 2025 — Chicago, IL — qBraid, a leading platform for cloud quantum computing, is proud to announce that it will serve as an official Jupyter Lab cloud platform host for the Qiskit Global Summer School 2025, organized by IBM.
This year’s summer school, themed “The Past, Present, and Future of Quantum Computing,” will run from July 7 to July 22, 2025, and has attracted record-breaking interest from thousands of learners worldwide. It will be the largest Qiskit Global Summer School on record.
As part of this collaboration, qBraid will provide a dedicated QGSS Jupyter lab-powered computing environment where registered participants can seamlessly write, execute, and submit their Qiskit code to real IBM quantum hardware. The dedicated QGSS instance on qBraid has been designed to ensure that students can focus on exploring quantum algorithms and concepts without the barriers of complex local installation or configuration.
“qBraid is committed to lowering the barriers to quantum computing,” said Kanav Setia, CEO at qBraid. “By using our Jupyter Lab environment to host the Qiskit Global Summer School 2025, we’re excited to empower the next generation of quantum developers with the tools, resources, and hardware access they need to translate learning into practice.”
Why qBraid?
As a trusted quantum development platform used by researchers, educators, and industry professionals, qBraid offers a unified environment to:
The dedicated QGSS Jupyter Lab environment on qBraid will include streamlined submission workflows to IBM backends—helping participants accelerate their learning experience.
